Summary
This study looks at whether a heart procedure called left atrial occlusion can help people with two conditions: atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat) and radiation cystitis (bladder damage from cancer radiation). The procedure involves placing a small device in the heart to prevent strokes, allowing patients to stop taking blood thinners that can worsen bladder bleeding. Researchers will track how many bleeding episodes occur over 3 years in 40 participants.
