Parkinson's drug pump may tame brain side effects

Summary

This study tests a treatment called Lecigon, a gel given through a tube into the intestine, for people with Parkinson's disease who have mood or behavior problems from their current medications. The goal is to see if Lecigon reduces these side effects better than standard care. About 150 adults with Parkinson's will take part, and researchers will compare their symptoms before and after 6 months of treatment.
