First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looked at how many surgeries new glaucoma specialists need to perform before they become skilled at inserting a small device called the Hydrus microstent. Five eye doctors in training had their surgeries recorded and graded. The goal was to find the average number of cases needed to reach a high level of competence. The results help improve surgical training programs.
