New program aims to boost health for cancer survivors in underserved communities

Summary

This study looks at whether a community-based program can help cancer survivors and their loved ones eat healthier and exercise more. About 100 adults in the Birmingham area who have had cancer or are close to a cancer survivor will take part. The program adapts proven health tips to fit the challenges of living in low-income areas.
