First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study compares two dental devices—the Leaf expander and the Hyrax expander—in children aged 6 to 12 with a crossbite (where upper teeth sit inside lower teeth). The main goal is to measure pain during the first week after placement. Thirty children will be randomly assigned to one device, and results will help dentists choose a more comfortable option.
