Low-dose radiation plus immunotherapy shows promise for liver-limited colorectal cancer

NCT ID NCT06848465

First seen Apr 03, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This early-phase trial tests whether adding low-dose radiotherapy to standard immunotherapy and chemotherapy is safe for people with colorectal cancer that has spread only to the liver. About 9 to 18 adults who have not had prior treatment will receive the combination. The main goal is to check for side effects, while also measuring how well the tumors shrink and how long people live without the cancer getting worse.
