First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This early-stage study tested whether adding a new drug called LDE225 to a standard chemotherapy (paclitaxel) is safe for women with ovarian cancer that no longer responds to platinum-based treatments. Fifteen women took part to find the best dose and monitor side effects. The goal was to control the disease, not cure it.
