New combo aims to shrink tough esophageal tumors

Summary
This study tests whether adding an experimental drug called LBL-007 to standard chemotherapy and immunotherapy can better shrink or control advanced esophageal cancer. About 118 adults with inoperable or spread esophageal squamous cell carcinoma will receive either the triple combination or the standard two-drug regimen. The goal is to see if the new combo leads to more tumor shrinkage and longer time without cancer growth.
