Summary
This study tests whether trained lay coaches can help family caregivers of people with advanced cancer feel less distressed and more supported. About 387 caregivers from rural and minority communities in the Southern U.S. will receive coaching sessions or usual care. The goal is to see if this low-cost approach improves caregiver well-being and patient outcomes.
