Sniff away the fear: lavender and rosemary oils tested for Pain-Free pediatric dentistry
NCT ID NCT07352397
First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at whether breathing in lavender oil, rosemary oil, or a mix of both can help children feel less anxious and experience less pain during a tooth extraction. About 80 healthy kids who need a lower baby tooth pulled will be randomly assigned to one of the scent groups or a placebo. The goal is to find a safe, drug-free way to make dental visits easier for children.
