This study tested whether inhaling lavender essential oil can reduce anxiety and pain in people with moderate to severe pain. 68 participants either breathed in lavender oil or a placebo for 30 minutes. Researchers measured changes in anxiety and pain levels using standard questionnaires. The goal was to see if a natural scent could offer relief without medication.
