First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This pilot study explores whether laughter yoga can reduce depression and anxiety in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and lower stress for their parents. About 66 families with children aged 8-12 will either practice laughter yoga or be placed on a waitlist. The goal is to see if this playful approach is acceptable, safe, and helpful for emotional well-being.
