Laughing gas shows promise for tough depression in new trial

Summary
This study tests whether breathing nitrous oxide (laughing gas) can reduce depression symptoms in people whose depression hasn't improved with at least two medications. 120 adults aged 18-65 with moderate to severe depression will be randomly assigned to receive either the gas or a placebo. The main goal is to see if depression scores improve over 12 weeks.
