New program helps latino cancer patients voice their care wishes

Summary

This study tested a program called PLAN that helps Latino cancer patients understand and talk about the medical care they would want if they couldn't speak for themselves. Twenty-seven patients with advanced cancer took part. The goal was to see if the program was helpful and if it improved their knowledge and readiness to make care plans.
