First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study looks at whether lying on your side instead of on your back during a painless stomach and colon exam can lower the chance of having low oxygen levels after the procedure. About 960 adults will be randomly placed in one of two positions to see which is safer. The goal is to find a simple, no-cost way to improve recovery.
