First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at whether lying on your side instead of on your back during a painless stomach and colon exam can lower the chance of having low oxygen levels afterward. About 960 adults scheduled for these exams will be randomly placed in one of two positions. The goal is to find a simple, no-cost way to make the procedure safer.
