Summary
This study tested two treatments for neck muscle pain: high-intensity laser therapy and shockwave therapy. Forty adults with myofascial pain syndrome received one of these treatments along with standard physical therapy for four weeks. The goal was to see which therapy reduced pain and improved neck movement more effectively.
