Summary
This study tested two treatments for neck muscle pain: high-intensity laser therapy and shockwave therapy. Forty adults with myofascial pain syndrome received one of the treatments plus standard physical therapy for four weeks. The goal was to see which approach better reduces pain and improves neck movement.
