First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tests whether low-level laser therapy can reduce pain, swelling, and jaw stiffness after impacted wisdom tooth removal, and help bone heal better. About 22 healthy adults will receive laser treatment on one side of the mouth and a placebo on the other. The goal is to see if this safe, non-invasive therapy improves recovery without the cost and risks of bone grafts.
