First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tests whether shining a low-level laser on the surgery site after removing impacted wisdom teeth can reduce pain, swelling, and help bone heal better. Twenty-two healthy adults will have both lower wisdom teeth removed, with one side getting laser treatment and the other not. Researchers will check healing and bone density over three months using X-rays and wound scores.
