New laser strategy could cut anesthesia rounds for kids with birthmarks

Summary

This study looks at how to improve laser therapy for port-wine birthmarks in children. The goal is to reduce the number of treatments needed and make the therapy work better, especially for stubborn cases. About 200 children aged 2 months to 18 years will take part. Researchers will measure color changes in the birthmark to see which laser approach works best.
