NCT ID NCT07456709

First seen Mar 15, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tested whether low-level laser therapy can reduce pain caused by orthodontic separators (small rubber rings placed between teeth before braces). Thirty-one adults received different laser doses on three sides of their mouth and a placebo on the fourth side. They rated their pain over 72 hours. The goal was to find the best laser setting for pain relief.
