First seen Jun 20, 2026 · Last updated Jun 20, 2026

This study tested whether a low-level laser (635 nm) can reduce pain from orthodontic separators — small rubber rings placed between teeth before braces. 80 patients received laser on one side of the mouth and no treatment on the other. They rated their pain over 7 days. The goal was to see if laser therapy could ease spontaneous and chewing pain.
