Could a laser zap away that unscratchable back itch?
NCT ID NCT07356362
Summary
This study is testing whether a high-power laser treatment can help people with a chronic nerve condition called notalgia paresthetica, which causes persistent itching, tingling, and pain on the upper back. Researchers will compare the real laser treatment to a fake (sham) procedure to see if it reduces symptoms and improves quality of life when added to standard care. The study will enroll 40 adults who have had these symptoms for at least three months.
