First seen Jan 18, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tests if low-level laser therapy can reduce pain and improve function in people with meralgia paresthetica, a condition where a nerve in the thigh gets compressed. Forty-four adults will either get real laser or a fake laser, both with TENS (a mild electrical stimulation), for 10 sessions over two weeks. Researchers will measure pain and quality of life right after treatment and one month later.
