NCT ID NCT07335822

First seen Jan 18, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tests if low-level laser therapy can reduce pain and improve quality of life in people with meralgia paresthetica, a condition where a nerve in the thigh gets pinched. Forty-four adults will receive either real laser or a sham laser, both combined with TENS (a mild electrical stimulation), over 10 sessions in two weeks. Researchers will measure pain and function using standard questionnaires right after treatment and again one month later.
