Zapping scars: can lasers make surgery marks fade faster?

Summary
This study is testing whether using laser and light therapy soon after major body contouring surgery can lead to better-looking and less bothersome scars. About 150 adults having surgery like tummy tucks or arm lifts will be in the study. Some will get three sessions of the laser/light treatment after surgery, while others will get standard care, to see which approach improves scar appearance and patient satisfaction more.
