First seen Mar 05, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study tested if using a low-level laser along with a small gum surgery (called piezocision) can safely speed up moving front teeth back with braces. 66 people with overbite took part. The goal was to see if the combo reduces root shortening and keeps gums healthy compared to surgery alone or standard braces.
