New laser tool under scrutiny: can it make cataract surgery safer?

Summary
This study is collecting safety data on a handheld laser tool used during cataract surgery. Researchers will review medical records of 446 patients who receive this laser as part of their normal surgical care to see how often it causes capsule tears. The goal is to confirm the laser keeps complication rates below 2% in real-world use after initial testing.
