First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study tested a pulsed dye laser on 21 people with scleroderma to see if it could safely reduce spider veins on the face and neck. Participants received four laser treatments, eight weeks apart. The main goal was to count how many spider veins disappeared and to check if patients felt better about their appearance and quality of life.
