Laser zaps tough skin conditions in new study
NCT ID NCT04567537
Summary
This study tested a laser treatment to see if it could improve the look and feel of raised scars and scleroderma, a condition that causes skin to harden and tighten. Researchers enrolled a small group of adults with these skin conditions to receive the laser treatment. The goal was to see if the laser could help remodel the skin's collagen to reduce scarring and stiffness.
