First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding a special laser treatment to a low-dose estrogen cream works better than the cream alone for postmenopausal women with vaginal dryness, burning, or pain during sex. Sixty women aged 45–70 will receive either a real or sham laser alongside the cream over several months. Researchers will measure vaginal health, symptoms, and quality of life to see if the combination offers extra relief.
