Summary
This completed study tested a new laser-based device (Laser Doppler Vibrometer) to measure artery stiffness in 100 people with high blood pressure. The goal was to see if this painless, non-invasive method works as well as current standard techniques. The study did not test any treatment, only a new way to measure a key health indicator.
