Zapping away age spots: new laser device enters testing

Summary
This study is testing a handheld laser device to see if it can safely lighten age spots, also known as solar lentigines, on the hands and forearms. It will involve 44 healthy women, comparing the laser used alone to the laser followed by a special skin-lightening cream. The main goal is to see if the treatment reduces the darkness of the spots over 12 weeks.
