NCT ID NCT07079904

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a laser attached to an ultrasound machine can help doctors insert a thin tube into a vein (IV) on the first try in people having heart surgery. About 100 adults aged 18 to 80 will take part. The goal is to see if the laser makes the process faster and easier compared to using ultrasound alone.
