Summary
This study tested if laser acupuncture can reduce severe itching in people on kidney dialysis. Sixty adults received either real or sham laser acupuncture during their dialysis sessions three times a week for four weeks. The treatment targeted specific acupoints to see if it could improve itch severity and quality of life.
