Summary
This study tested whether laser acupuncture can reduce severe itching in people on dialysis. Sixty adults received either real or sham laser acupuncture during their dialysis sessions three times a week for four weeks. The treatment targeted specific acupoints to see if it could improve itch severity and quality of life.
