First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tests a new robotic system called LARC that helps surgeons precisely guide a needle into the kidney during surgery to remove large or difficult kidney stones. The goal is to make the procedure safer, faster, and more effective by reducing the need for separate pre-surgery steps. Up to 45 adults scheduled for kidney stone surgery will take part and be followed for one month after.
