Summary
This study looks at how removing the spleen (laparoscopic splenectomy) affects cholesterol and fat levels in people with liver cirrhosis, an enlarged spleen, and hypersplenism. Researchers will follow 30 patients for 2 years after surgery to see if their lipid profiles improve or worsen. The goal is to better manage metabolic health in these patients.
