Eye-Tracking study seeks clues to how kids with language disorders learn
NCT ID NCT02609542
Summary
This study aimed to understand how children with specific oral language disorders (STOL) process and remember words compared to children with typical development. Researchers tested 173 children aged 4 to 8 years, using memory tasks and eye-tracking technology to see how they look at information while learning. The goal was to see if certain memory skills could predict which children's language difficulties might improve over time.
