First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at how people with Lewy body disease (like Parkinson's or dementia with Lewy bodies) have trouble understanding sentences. Researchers will compare 90 older adults with and without the disease using brain scans and language tests. Then they will test a safe, noninvasive brain stimulation treatment that people can use at home to see if it improves sentence comprehension.
