Summary
This study will test 70 people with diarrhea-predominant IBS to see how many actually have lactose intolerance. Researchers will use a PCR test and a symptom questionnaire. The goal is to better understand the link between lactose intolerance and chronic diarrhea, which could help improve diagnosis and treatment.
