Summary
This study tests whether adding lacosamide to standard treatment can reduce depression in people with bipolar disorder who haven't improved with other medications. Forty adults aged 18-65 with moderate to severe depression will receive either lacosamide or a placebo for 12 weeks. The main goal is to see if depression scores improve more with lacosamide.
