First seen Jun 02, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested a new device called LabPatch that sticks to the skin and measures blood sugar continuously in people with type 1 or type 2 diabetes. The goal was to see how accurate it is compared to standard lab tests and two commercial glucose meters. Thirty adults wore the patch while their blood sugar was checked, and the results will help determine if the device is reliable enough for everyday use.
