First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at 20 women aged 50 and older who have arthritis in both knees. Researchers measured differences in leg muscle strength and tested how well the women could balance, walk, and do daily tasks. The goal was to understand if strength imbalances make movement harder, which could help design better exercises in the future.
