NCT ID NCT07578688
First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests two different nerve block approaches for pain after total knee replacement. One uses a low-dose anesthetic on three major nerves near the hip, while the other uses a higher dose on nerves near the knee. The goal is to see which method provides better pain relief, reduces the need for morphine, and helps patients regain leg strength sooner. About 120 adults scheduled for knee replacement will take part.
