Knee surgery pain relief: is a nerve block better than an IV?
NCT ID NCT07180953
Summary
This study is testing whether giving a common steroid medicine directly into a nerve block is better at reducing pain and swelling after knee replacement surgery than giving the same medicine through an IV. Researchers will compare the two methods in 90 patients aged 65-100 who are having total knee replacement. The goal is to find the best way to manage post-surgery pain and inflammation.
