First seen Mar 18, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study compares two methods of aligning a new knee joint during replacement surgery: kinematic alignment (matching your natural knee movement) and mechanical alignment (straightening the leg). Researchers want to see which approach leads to better knee function, range of motion, and patient satisfaction. The study will involve 100 adults with knee arthritis who are getting a knee replacement.
