Scientists link tight hips and weak core to teen athlete knee pain
NCT ID NCT07326046
Summary
This study aimed to understand what causes knee pain in teenage track athletes. Researchers compared 75 athletes, some with knee pain and some without, measuring their flexibility, core strength, and balance. They found that athletes with knee pain had tighter hips, weaker core muscles, and poorer balance, suggesting the problem involves the whole body, not just the knee.
