NCT ID NCT05727371

First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests whether a single injection of a mix of platelet-rich plasma (from your own blood) and a gel-like substance can reduce pain and stiffness in people with moderate to severe knee osteoarthritis. About 280 adults with knee arthritis grade 3 or 4 will receive either the new combination, a standard gel, or a placebo. The goal is to see if the new mix works better and is safe.
